Project: KULISHA

(In Swahili Kulisha means to nourish or feed)

Siany Child
Development Center

Alive In The Spirit has been working with the Siany Child Development Center for close to 10 years. They have helped with feeding programs, physical needs like blankets and helping pay the teachers salaries. Alive In The Spirit has taken upon itself to help Siany build a brand new permanent building that will provide them with classrooms and a cafeteria. Siany ministers to 350 students each day of the week and 380 children in the weekend feeding ministry. Siany is a well-established and important work happening in Kisumu, Kenya. It is led by a pastor, who also is a district leader names Chemilo.

The picture on the left is of the temporary tin shacks they are using for classrooms right now as they prepare for the new building. They had to move these buildings to make room for the new one. (Read more below)

Project: KULISHA

The Siany Child Development Center has been ministering in the slums of Kisumu for years. The school started with 100 children and now has 350 that come each day for education, meals and learning the Word of God.

This new building will allow them to move the classes inside and under a roof. They can only build with the funds they received. The foundation has been poured and work had to stop while more money was raised. Alive In The Spirit has taken up this challenge and is trying to raise the rest of the money needed to complete the building.

You can make a BIG DIFFERENCE in the lives of over 700 children each week with a donation toward this project. A special donations page has been set up and 100% of the donations will help build this necessary building. Please take a moment and pray, ask God what He would have you do. Your participation will facilitate the life-changing ministry that is happening in Kisumu, Kenya.
